Indoor League 8th & 9th Round Reports

Oeiras played their return game against Bangladesh. Oeiras won the toss and elected to bat. Oeiras batted solidly putting on 135 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. The runs coming from Shrma (25*), P. Buccimazza (22*) and C. Buccimazza (22*).  In return Bangladesh’s Kholil and Rajack seemed to be settling down, when Rajack was run out by Shrma, following which wickets fell at regular intervals and they were all out for 47 runs, loosing by 88 runs.

The second game was the return game between Gaspar Correia and CHP, who won the toss and elected to bat. They batted solidly, putting on 142 runs all out in 9 overs. Main contributors were Jitesh (24), Jayesh (23*) and Vimal (18).  In return Gaspar Correia made a disastrous start losing Silkesh off the 2nd delivery, a position from which they never recovered, being all out for 80 runs, losing by 62 runs. The only batsman getting into double figures was Bageera (44*).

Bangladesh playing Kings of Punjab in the first game of the evening of the 9th round, won the toss and batted first. Bangladesh put on 114 runs all out, with Kholil (25) and Rajack (22) making double figures.  In reply Kings of Punjab lost 2 wickets in the first over, from which they never recovered, managing 95 runs all out in the 9th over, loosing by 19 runs. Indergit (19) and Praveen (20) were the main contributors.

Oeiras played CHP in the second game.  Oeiras, lost the toss and batted first. Oeiras  lost P. Buccimazza, run out on the first delivery and Shrma in the fourth over and never seemed to recover from there, being all out for 56 runs, with Shrma (18), Goyal (14) being the main contributors.  In response, CHP methodically scored the required runs in 6.3 overs for the loss of 1 wicket, winning by 4 wickets.
