Indoor League 7th Round Report
Kings of Punjab playing Gaspar Correia in the first game of the evening, won the toss and elected to field.
Gaspar Correia made 102 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, with Sagar (20*) and Silkesh (19) making most of the runs. In reply Kings of Punjab lost opener Nikka in the first over, and Sabi and Gurvinder in the third, from which they never recovered. Sunny (29) tried to hold the innings together only to be run out giving Gaspar Correia their first victory of the tournament by 20 runs.
Bangladesh took on CHP in the second game. CHP won the toss and fielded first. Bangldesh struggled to score with only 31 runs coming off the first 4 overs, and ending on 103 runs all out in the 10th over (Rajack 25*). In response, CHP capitalised on some wayward bowling (50 extras) and put on the required runs in 7 overs without loss (Jitesh 21* & Jayesh 22*).
